In January 2024, Homeless Project Scotland launched a night shelter on Glassford Street in Glasgow. Initially planned to close on March 30th, 2024, the overwhelming demand for our service has led us to keep the shelter open beyond this date. The housing emergency has made it clear that there is a critical need for safe, warm accommodation for those living on the streets.
Every night, our shelter provides a lifeline to 35 individuals, offering a warm bed and a safe place to sleep away from the cold and wet streets. Our shelter is entirely volunteer-led with no paid staff, relying solely on the goodwill and generosity of our community.
We rely on the support of our community to keep our doors open and our programmes running. Your donation can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people. Whether you can give a little or a lot, every contribution helps us continue our mission and helps keep the shelter open.
Sponsor a bed in our night shelter today via our just giving page. These donations will go directly towards housing feeding and helping vulnerable people today
